Marc Van Hooft
With over 20 years of experience, Marc van Hooft (1970) has become quite an expert in designing and facilitating participative change programs and interventions. Clients and colleagues think of him as passionate, analytical, direct and keen on details. Marc likes to work with organizations that seriously take care of the views and opinions of their employees, and leaders who dare to act consistently. He has the deep conviction that there is a huge potential of energy, creativity and intelligence in every organization to address and resolve problems and create breakthroughs. The critical factor is how to deal smartly with that potential to reach fast, effective and sustainable change. With a lot of commitment, a minimum of turmoil and lasting results.
Marc worked with a wide range of organizations in profit, non-profit and government sectors in both the Netherlands and Belgium. Besides his work for the Prepared Mind team, he runs his own consultancy practice in the Netherlands. He’s a member of the Dutch department of the EODF, the European, Organization Design Forum. And a part-time lecturer for the Radboud Management Academy, part of Radboud University Nijmegen, where he’s mainly active in connecting the fields of Organizational Change and Psychology in order to make behavioural change really work in organizations.
Marc is a big fan of Italy. The countryside, the cities, the food and wines, the style and fashion. He loves well designed stuff and to make things better and more beautiful, both in form and function. In his spare time he loves to work on classic road bicycles.
